This site is about music gifts but let’s talk about how music in itself is such a  gift. Have you ever been sad and then a favorite song comes on the radio and all of a sudden you are no longer sad? Have you ever heard a song that brought you back to thinking about an old friend or new love? Have you ever been touched by the words of a song? Have you ever gone to a concert and had the time of your life?  Have you ever praised God with music? Have you ever praised God for music.

These are some questions to ponder when you think you will go crazy if you hear another song from your daughter’s favorite artist or your son is rocking out the house. Music is a true gift and can bring out so many emotions and memories. Isn;t is amazing that you can remember the words from a song that you knew years ago as soon as you hear it again and you start tapping your feet and singing to the tunes.

Music’s history is a long entailed one but it not boring. From the big bands to rock and roll, to today’s hip hop (depending on your taste, this is considered music) and fascination with the newest American Idol, music has impacted many and is sure to keep on doing so.
